Registration for the 2026 Season has now CLOSED!!
If you have missed the registration window, we are sad that we have to turn you away. We hope that you will mark your calendar for March 2027 when we will start advertising our Parent Information Meeting for next season. This is when we open registration for the 2027 season, and it will remain open through the first week or so of April.

The Cavemen MTB Team is American Fork High School's mountain biking team for area high school and middle school students. The team has seen amazing year-over-year growth, with nearly 200 team members in the 2025 season. We are organized under the Utah High School Cycling League and governed by the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA).
The 2026 Season will be the 13th consecutive season in which the CavemenMTB have competed at the state level and the Tenth season for the Cavemen Junior Development team (grades 7-8). Both male and female students compete in a series of cross-country mountain bike races all over Utah.

Practices start June 1 and are held Monday’s and Wednesday’s at 6am (High School team), and 6:15am (Jr Devo team). Once school starts, we go to the PM at 6pm & 6:15pm. Check out our Pre-Season Calendar for events leading up to the start of the season!
2026 Season Race Dates & Venues:
Race #1: August 15, 2026 - Beaver County
Race #2: August 29, 2026 - Gunnison
Race #3: September 12, 2026 - Eagle Mountain
Race #4 (Regionals - HS Only): October 3, 2026 - Cliff Rose (St. George)
Race #5 State Championship (for qualifying HS riders): October 23-24, 2026 - Venue to be announced
